Ottawa Canadian Film Festival, November 6-8: This year’s festival takes over the iconic ByTowne Cinema, featuring 17 Canadian films that celebrate the diversity, creativity, and innovation of filmmakers from coast to coast. The lineup includes several works by talented local filmmakers, spanning heartfelt comedies, gripping dramas, and imaginative animated sci-fi adventures.

National Remembrance Day Ceremony, November 11: The Royal Canadian Legion hosts the National Remembrance Day Ceremony at Ottawa’s National War Memorial, honouring the men and women who have served in Canada’s military. The ceremony begins at approximately 10:45 a.m.

CRAVE Food & Wine Festival, November 13-14: presented by Richcraft - Ottawa’s premier celebration of food and drink! Join fellow food lovers at the Rogers Centre to sample the city’s best bites, wines, beers, cocktails, and more across a variety of themed sections.

Magic of Lights Ottawa, Opens November 21: Celebrating its 10th anniversary season, transforming the Wesley Clover Parks Campground into a sparkling holiday wonderland with more than two million twinkling lights! Take a magical drive through the glowing displays, wander along illuminated trails, capture picture-perfect moments, and indulge in festive treats — all in support of CHEO

Ottawa Christmas Market, Opens November 22: More than just a market, it’s a holiday experience for the whole family. Wander through twinkling lights, sample festive treats, shop from local makers and artisans, and enjoy live entertainment. Open weekends from late November through December, with special extended hours on New Year’s Eve.
